What we can and can't do
The records we publish are official public records maintained by Texas county clerks. We do not control the underlying records and cannot alter or remove them from the county's system. We can, however, review requests to suppress a record from this site or correct information we have parsed, and we honor removals required by law.
When we'll suppress or correct
- The information is legally required to be removed or redacted (for example, certain personal identifiers).
- Our parsed details contain a factual error compared with the recorded document.
- You are an individual with a documented safety concern eligible for protection under applicable law.
How to submit a request
Email [email protected] with:
- The record URL or instrument number and county.
- The specific information at issue and what you're requesting (suppression or correction).
- The basis for the request, and verification of your identity or authority where appropriate.
We acknowledge requests within a few business days and aim to resolve them promptly. A correction to the underlying public record must be pursued with the county clerk that recorded it.
